
One of the most stunning villages in New Hampshire – North Conway is a place of immense beauty. The city has a colorful vibe along with the views of the White Mountains. Every part of the city looks like they have just been brought to life from a painting or one of those children’s story books. In North Conway is a historical railroad called the Conway Scenic Railroad that operates excursion tours around the White Mountains.

My husband, friend and I decided to to experience the train ride to witness this year’s fall foliage. The Mountaineer excursion’s economy class seat costs $65 per person that goes around the White Mountains for 5-6 hours. It was a pretty long ride but the views did not disappoint! I definitely recommend this excursion if you just want a relaxing day to spend watching the scenic views while hopping on a historical train ride. Otherwise, there’s also an option to hike around the mountains if you’re up to an adventure.
